5 million views of the photos posted - does it sound something decent number or its a normal routine work … was curious about it.
Is Google publishing some data on the classification of LGs somewhere?

Hi @PradeepMalu the number of views on your photos depends so much on the place you live that is not easy to make comparisons.
I live in Rome, a city with more than 2500 years of history, so it’s easy to find nice spots for great photos, but it’s also true that many places are overcrowded!
Sharing my stats could help, I’m slight over 46 million of views on my photos, that are over 8000, and my most viewed photos are around 500K views.
But I’m a SVT photographer, so many 360 photos could lead to many views.
I can tell you that there are many LGs with hundred of million views, and some is crossing 4 billions too (but it’s a special case).
5 million is a nice achievement! I was around 20 million one year ago, so the growth could be more than linear.

First of all that’s a huge number, congrats for letting people see your pics and make use of them 5million times. And when it comes to facts the number relative strength depends on the place you clicked the pic, for example of you posted a photo of regional Passport office/airport it may have greater chance of attracting more views when compared to the photos of local Telephone office. I think you got the point. And 5 million views is really nice Sir

Hi @PradeepMalu , congrats for the numbers! As you asked, my view count is nearing 7 million now but as @LucioV said, it’s also location dependent.
Try to take photos of places (often small ones, true) that have no photos at all (yet). Like the total count, this is also a metric that your LG profile records but even more important that people will have at least some clue how that particular place may look like. Also, when your photo is the only photo (for some time at least), obviously people will see that and this will also boost your view count.
I know numbers are less important than helping out others but they also feel good - and the view count is a number that can work as a feedback on how helpful your contributions are.

@PradeepMalu For how long have you been posting photos and how many photos do you have?
For comparison purposes I currently have 4.526 photos with a total of 21.633.990 views. I’ve been posting photos to Google Maps in about a year and a half. My most viewed photo has 1.019.767 views.
