My favorite thing to share on Google Maps are reviews that benefit patients visiting the Mayo Clinic medical center in our town. I work in hospitality, so I interact with patient-guests on a regular basis, and it’s great to show them a map of great things to do nearby!
Many guests have had long days at the Clinic and want a relaxing and delicious place to eat for dinner, or something fun to do in the evening. Others are in-town for extended treatments and want day-trip ideas for the weekends. Some guests need wheelchair- or walker-accessible places that are nearby. Google Maps makes it easy for these and other guests to enjoy to a wonderful evening attraction or weekend getaway.
The Mayo Clinic patients especially inspire me to explore the Rochester area and post reviews on the wonderful dining and other attractions nearby. It also gives me a reason to shop and eat out more and meet the wonderful people running nearby shops and restaurants. Posting reviews with the patient audience in mind is what I love to share most on Google Maps.
