Last weeks there had been and increasing number of users posting on Facebook about having been removed from the Local Guides program. Some level 10 have not idea why, but collaborate actively.
Feedback it should be an easy way to be able to communicate privately, since once they are banned there is no way to reach at this link of the Local guides with the directions of what to do, and to find this link is only possible if you have a Facebook account.
Leaving a public message on Facebook and Tweeter with the direct link of the contributions page of the ex Local Guides harms both sides, it doesn’t look good that the comments are full of people reaching out through this platforms (Facebook and Tweeter) when it would be more grateful to read other kinds of interactions more than “My account was suspended…” , for example. Plus, not everybody has Facebook or Tweeter.
There are groups of ex Local Guides also on Facebook sharing their feelings about being locked out without the opportunity to receive feedback or learn actively from this program, at least one warning should be part of the procedure, there are a lot of touching stories about how much it meant to be a Local Guide.
Google costumer support had improve but it would be very productive for both sides (Local Guide team and users) if feedback is reachable, I also understand that there are acts that should not be permitted and that are not justified at all. All extremes add dis functionality, as it does 1 start vs 5 stars.
