Jelgava (yèl-ga-va) (formerly known by the German name of Mitau or Mittau) is a city not very far from Riga in Latvia. This city is twinned with Rueil-Malmaison my city.
Each year we exchange our apprentices and their teachers, I welcomed home. So we were invited to discover this vibrant small town.
Lovers also put padlocks on these iron trees
Very interesting museum
The Jelgava Palace is now a school !
I’m not Latvian, it was just for the photo !
