Our trip on the Jacobite train

We recently had a great day out on the Jacobite train, which as you probably know is the one in Harry potter, as my husband and I are fans of Harry potter I thought it would be a great experience to travel on it, I was right. The Jacobite train goes from fort William to mallaig crossing over the iconic bridge from the film, we were given a complimentary tea at each stage of the journey. A trolley came down the isle which contained Harry potter memorabilia for sale. The staff were friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Highly recommended.

I’d say that was great fun, was it expensive?

No, not really, if you go on the website, just put in Jacobite train and it’ll give you all the details, it’s West coast railways.

Also, I’m glad you enjoyed my post

Just had a look there, the prices are pretty reasonable. Although I’m not a big Potter fan I do like my Trains. Cheers for sharing,

no worries, it was only my second trip on a steam train and I loved it.

And hopefully not your last, I blame Michael Portillo for my love of Trains, and funnily enough I’ve never been on a Steam Train.

Well take it from me it’s a worth while outing.

That´s amazing @Maria68 :open_mouth: Thanks for sharing your photos!!!

This train is now added to my list, I’m also a Harry Potter fan :zap:

Did they sell chocolate frogs ? :joy:
