Our short trip to Yogyakarta #2

Now, i told you about my trip in the second day. For who haven’t read my story about my first day trip, you can check it below.

Our short trip to Yogyakarta #1

Let’s continue the second day in Yogyakarta. In this day, we’ve already planned to go to some tourist attractions before, but because of insufficient time that we had, we only went to Prambanan temple. It took for more about 3 hours to arrive in the location, therefore we went to a stall to get breakfast first.

That’s called Soto Ayam Kampung, it’s a yellow chicken soup with a celery leaves and fried shallots. After we’ve done with our breakfast, we went to the temple directly.

I felt blessed and happy because i could see the largest Hindu temple in my own country directly. Honestly, it felt very hot, therefore there are some people who are selling umbrellas surrounding it.

Some of us wanted to go to inside the temple because of the curiousness of the statue inside it. It’s crowded enough when we want to enter to the temple. But finally we could see the Roro Jonggrang’s statue directly, it’s located in the main temple of Prambanan.

Next…we went to the traditional market near the Prambanan temple, there are a lot of souvenirs about that temple such as bag, clothes, miniature, and key chain. In this place i suggest to bid what things that you wanna buy first.

After we explored the Prambanan temple, all of us continued for searching something fresh(for neutralizing from heat). One of us recommend a place, this place is quite familiar and the place is …

Ahh…finally we found this place, it took quite a long time for arrive to Tempo Gelato from Prambanan temple. The taste of the gelato is a little bit better than the others. Why we decide to go to this place, one of the reason is because it’s near our next destination.

The last destination in Yogyakarta is Bakpia Pathok. It’s familiar enough for who wants to search typical food of Yogyakarta as a souvenir.

Then, we went back to our homestay for preparing to check out and go to Malang. Until we arrived to our homestay, we almost got additional charge again due to the overtime indeed. Finally, we could check out before the specified time and go back to our city, Malang.

I’ve made a short video from our trip, don’t forget to LIKE if you think it’s good…check out the link below
