I have 3 small businesses ranging from sports, IT and general contracting. Listing what I offer on Google Maps gives me a windows to the world to help people find my products and services, and also have a glimpse of the quality of my product and services through reviews and ratings.
I use google map and read reviews before visiting any new place or business and I believe this will become the standard worldwide when most local businesses in every country are listed.
The best way to hep ourselves find good places to visit, shop, eat, travel is to become a local guide and contribute. Almost everyone now has a smart phone and writing a review with photos can take less than 30 seconds.
Please don’t hesitate to share your knowledge or recommendation or bad experience about any place you have been to because you are helping the world to be better by doing just that.
I recently used Google Map to read reviews about Lake Louise and the best place to stay at while visiting.
Below are some photos of my latest visit to Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. We stayed at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel and it is located between two giant mountains split by a lake. We definitely enjoyed it. Located in Banff National Park, it is Peaceful, Quiet, Beautiful, Natural, Wild. It is 2.5 hours drive from Calgary National Airport. I recommend this place to anyone who likes the mountains, skiing, lakes, wildlife.
