Hallo Uganda and the rest of the world. Its so sad that the corona pandemic invaded our planet with rudeness, grabbingly taking away our lives. As a Ugandan, I would like to appreciate all the efforts put in place by the government under President Museveni and the now iconic minister of Health. I hope with all this Ugandans will stay safe health wise and more particularly #CoronaSafe. Thank you

The I think our people need more that the safety guidelines. Our people need people survival policy making leaders than never before. The president has tried although it is a little sad that whenever he appears on TV to address the country, he just becomes the spokes man of the ministry of health but its okay the message of sanitizers, keep home, report any case, have masks on have reached almost everywhere in Uganda but we need survival policies now
The government should look into the daily survival routine of the people. That is to say, for people to survive, they need food, need power, need good health care, information, water, soap, rent, trade and many more as you know.
Someone wants to abruptly comment and say the government under Minister Anita managed to tell alcohol makers to instead make sanitizers. That’s true but remember these will be sold and not given out for free yet the situation calls for #FreeGiveAway of sanitizers by government to the masses.
Its still sad that the government on what I think should have been so swift it hasn’t. Right now apart from telling people to wash hands with soap, don’t you think we would have had corona virus test machines at almost every entry of hospitals, malls and people irresistible meet centres? Let’s leave health
What is the fate of the very many Ugandans whose life has been hooked on Bank loans? Has the government looked into this yet? Has any policy been put across to see these people survive. Am not saying the government should pay their money but has it ordered in any way bank not to continue with interest accumulation during this catastrophic moment?
Are people able to have information at any time ? Anywhere? And by all means? And if in some case not, what is the govt doing to see this happen? Has the government asked Digital statelite Televisions like star times, Zulu,DSTV and others to have #Corona Related subscription or we are still paying the previous dues yet we have crippled businesses. Has the government asked Telecommunication networks to lower not only mobile money charges but also calling charges? For people to access information?
The government has loudly asked Ugandans to wash hands with water and soap but is it aware that water still costs the same money and soap is becoming expensive. And bad enough some places don’t have clear water accessibility and the only alternative possible is not safe because it causes congestion now and probable virus spread? Has the government talked to National water and sewerage Cooperation to lower prices? For and Ugandans to access water and two because they are not going to be working for such long?
This is the time Ugandans need electricity like never before. Has the government looked into all this to talk to the UMEME people to lower unit prices so low for Ugandans to have power on for cooking and so on? And two we won’t be working and then we need the power?
Has the government been noticed that many Ugandans are just having their hearts out regarding to rent? Many of the productive business people in Uganda do rent both at business and home. But has out government looked deep into this to issue a directive to landlords about the issues or we are busy editing memes from Kenya
Apart from the government ordering business people not yo hike prices does it get a clear lesson that many of the things we use are imported and so now if we have zero meaningful production and no entrance then with no doubt the available have to to go high?

We need more visionary leadership now than never before. We need a thinking and an action taking government on survival lines of people like never before. We need survival policies like never before. We need government
