Chaitola Fair is known as Dola chaitola Fair
it is a famous annual fair held in *chamdeval village ,Gumdesh,champawat,lohaghat

History-
chaitola fair organised annualy by the people of lohagaht and and people of nepal connected to gumdesh area it is a historical event,

  1. sirkot
  2. judi
  3. jakh
  4. baskuni
  5. Neoltukra
  6. chopta
  7. silig
  8. mud
  9. pulla (means) thousand of ppl collecting.
  10. pokhari

Ritual-
From every villeges this type of dola(chair) comes on the sholders of the villagers
this fair bring prosperity in the life of people in form of rice .


they cover all distance by their steps they all are celebrating and dancing
the peoples who comes revolve arond the temple
until the main priest chair arrived

End- when all rituals happen villages give this dola in the river lohawati.

arti timeing:-

  • 6.10 am Abhisek puja
  • 7.00 am Maha Mangala arti
  • 7.15 am Mahaprasad
  • after that open for Darsan

flower shops and prasad shops :-are widely avilable near temple organised well by locals.
water: two taps inside temple and a river outside.
Foods:- local shops are avilable
staircase- good point no staircases are there it is on hills vehicles avialble.
how to reach:-personal and public vehicle all are avialble according to budget

i plan from Lucknow
so reach purnagiri first via train
then Purnagiri to Lohaghat
then lohagat to chamdeval via local tranport)
