Ottana-Sardinia

What makes a good post? potrebbe aiutarti, e darti qualche consiglio su come sviluppare i contenuti in Local Guides Connect

Hello @Lordskary ,

Thank you for sharing this street art illustration with us. Is there any particular reason why you’ve decided to make the photo white and black instead of colors?

@BorrisS @ErmesT

these illustrations on the road represent a pillar of the Ottana territory. Ottana. The image represents two characters of the carnival. Boes and merdules. Boes e merdules It is not accidental that I use the black and white filter in the photos of the historical centers it is the story that handed down these traditions and represent them with the colors of the time that was, it highlights precisely what we were

Hello @Lordskary ,

Thank you for the explanation and the details. The way Boes and Merdules look, remind me about the Kukeri that we have in Bulgaria. In the Bulagrian tradition, Kukeri are believed to scare away the evil spirits. Usually they are guys wearing costumes and huge bells. There is even a festival which is called Surva.

I’m sharing with you a photo that I took this year from the Surva festival.
