Osteria del Porto, Callao

Hello friends!

Today I visited a new place for family lunch. It is called Osteria del Porto. It is located in the main art gallery of Monumental Callao, the fashionable tourist area of the Callao district, Lima. The art gallery of llama Fugaz (Ronald House). To be honest this whole area is just a marvel to visit, highly recommendable. The restaurant is small but its beautiful decoration, vintage and rustic style compensate for everything. Upon entering you can see a beautiful decoration with bottles of wine, the bar has flags of some football clubs, such as the Fiorentina of Italy. It was at that moment that we learned that the owner is from Florence, Italy, married to a Peruvian woman. Since Italy is in the picture I´d like to tag my dear Connect friends @ErmesT and @LuigiZ

I was delighted with everything I experienced in this place. Their customer service was way above average. I ordered my daughters a traditional American pizza, cheese, and ham, delicious, the tomato sauce felt different and the dough was great. In our case, we tried a curious dish, Linguine Forrest Gump, which brings flambéed prawns to white wine. Oh my god, I still have the flavor in my mouth, just unfair how good it was. :grinning: We accompany them with a glass of white wine. Outcome: A delight

I share with you a few photos of the place and my review on Google Maps. If you have the opportunity to visit Lima, I think this is a highly recommended site! Review Osteria del Porto

All the best!

Beautiful photos @marcorp . The meals sound delicious. I’m assuming the pasta was named after the movie Forrest Gump? Thanks for sharing.
