Orkhon Valley

I have taken these photo of Orkhon Valley two years ago. It was autumn, the tourist season had just ended. I was really attracted by the tranquil space, wonderful views of the river with the enchanting emerald green.

@Thai_Ngh beautiful. It seems like you were a bit higher up when taking picture. Is there a lookout point where you took picture?

@sparekh yes, a hill beside the river, I climbed on the hill and had a beautiful view to river and city below.

Hi @Thai_Ngh

Wow this is gorgeous! I though it was a painting at first. What camera did you use to take this photo? I’m sure it would make a great print for the walls. Stunning!

Do you live somewhere close by or you were traveling around? The river transformations is really interesting and beautiful. What else is there around this place?

Thank you for sharing!

@DanniS I have traveled there two years ago. I used the Canon 70D and in my opinion, everyone would have beautiful pictures with great scenery in this Orkhon valley. There are two sets of ancient ruins along the river valley: Khar Balgas, the ancient capital of the Uyghur Kingdom and Karakorum, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire Genghis Khan. Thank you for your comments.
