Orientation of Bullock

Today I spotted another age old tradition in rural areas.
After a long time, I got to see the training of young bullocks by a farmer.
Bullocks were yoked with a long pole to drag a heavy wooden piece.
It is really a tiresome & bizarre job for bullocks to drag the wood and move in a particular direction around the pole only.

After this training they become eligible to do ploughing of land.
The bullocks also get an understanding of different commands of the farmer.

I looked at the thirsty faces of bullocks and didn’t really like the way of training. One of the bullocks didn’t like to move even one step and the other one was shedding tears  .

I looked at the farmer; he had no resentment or realisation of bullocks’ pain. I thought the farmer should have shown a little drop of love towards the bullocks by offering them something to drink and take a break in between during the training.

But that’s is the way, new bullocks are trained in villages to help the farmers in ploughing and earning livelihood.
