In the Northern part of the island of Viti Levu in Fiji, is a beautiful park called Garden of the Sleeping Giant. Some say the name comes from the fact that the mountains look like a giant sleeping on his back. You can try and find him in the embedded 360 below. The gardens offer an incredible collection of orchids and other flowers. Paths take you through meadows and forested hollows all filled with flowers, ponds and streams. The site is not far from the major hub of Nadi and worth a day trip if you are passing through. If you click on the second or third photo below it will take you to an album of images from the Gardens
@Sorbe Thanks ( I think ) for merging my post. Although I appreciate it, it seems to have lost several attributes. It is no longer in my posts but has now moved into comments. It also has lost the geotag that I put in the original post. It was meant to be in the travel area to show people where it is. Now, it does not show the tag and the map does not have a marker to show where the location in the post is located. This is not only about the flowers but also about the destination, it seems to have lost these features in the merge. Additionally, I shared the link to my post on Facebook and this link now goes to the top of page 62 in the thread and not to my post. This if far from optimal. The merge should respect the link to the original post, at least… no ? Thanks - Nick
Hi @Nick-Hobgood Fantastic photographs. I see what you mean, your article is about the place, Garden of The Sleeping Giant, Figi and not only the beautiful photos
Thank you for reaching out. I have modified the attributes of your post, adding the labels of Travel and Photography. Please let me know if everything looks fine now.
