Open Momo(dumplings)
Hi @RaunakMaskay ,
Is Momos something typical for your national cuisine? It would be really nice if you can share a bit more information about this dessert.
Please note that as more descriptive your post is, more people will interact with you.
Maybe you have checked the article 14 helpful tips for using Connect but if you haven’t, I recommend to do it because it’s going to help you to do your future posts more engaging.
Momos was eaten by Newas of Kathmandu Valley in Nepal and in Tibet.
The Newas usually stuff with Buffalo meat and used the food as cultural one during Saaparu and Yomari Punni festival.
But nowadays momos can be everywhere in Kathmandu throughout the year in various Restaurants and lots of experiments going on with stuffing.
As a desert, chocolate, sugar, banana, fruits and many more are used for stuffings.
Hey @RaunakMaskay ,
In the beginning, I thought that momos are only a dessert. It is nice that you can make them also salty and that people are experimenting with different kind of stuffing.
Regarding Saaparu and Yomari Punni festival, it would be really interesting to tell us more about them.
I’m looking forward to reading your next post. ![]()
Sure I will be writing about Sapparu as well.
Regarding Yomari I have posted about it on 03-19-2019 as Yomari.
That’s nice, @RaunakMaskay , I’ll have a look into it.
And I’m looking forward to reading your post about Sapparu.
