I recently took a trip on the Ooty toy train, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. I booked my tickets online in advance. There is a first class and second-class ticket available in the train. There are limited tickets available, so it’s important to book early.
I started my trip from Love Dale railway station in Ooty at 2:45 PM. The train was a beautiful old steam locomotive, painted blue and cream. It chugged slowly out of the station, and I settled into my seat for the ride.
The train passed through some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. We climbed up into the hills, and the views were simply stunning. I could see the lush green tea plantations, the snow-capped mountains, and the winding rivers. We also passed through some tunnels and over several bridges.
The train was full of people from all over the world. There were families, couples, and groups of friends. Everyone was enjoying the ride and the scenery. I even saw a few monkeys playing in the trees alongside the tracks.
After about 3 hours, we arrived at Mettupalayam railway station. I was sad to see the ride end, but I knew I would never forget it. The Ooty toy train is a truly magical experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable journey.
