One way roads marked both way in some Mumbai roads!

Many of the roads in my locality are one way but are marked as both way traffic. This causes many problems especially with ride aggregators who guide the drivers to take incorrect routes. Examples 1. JP Road connecting to SV road 2. Andheri East road leading from WE highway to Metro station etc.

I have raised this as edits in maps but they do not seem to stick at all.

What is the way forward?

Hi, @Kuchroo you can send feedback to Google maps about that wrong direction directly over the Google Maps app or post your question on the Google Maps Forum.

Could you please share more details about the road?

  1. Link to that road
  2. Possibly a street sign or something else that have one way indication

I had long discussion on this issue and submitted proofs like street signs.

this was proof submitted for Andheri Kurla road edit. On the left of the no entry sign there is a message in Marathi that reads “allowed only for BEST bus”
