One of the most calming places in Laos

I just returned from an epic adventure in Laos and I am so excited to share my experience. I travel alone and enjoy meeting people around the world and visiting the best places on Earth… It was my first trip in Laos and I absolutely loved it! I spent two months planning my trip and it all paid off thanks to the google community and all the helpful contributors. Seriously, this is an incredible helping community and it was my primary resource for trip planning. Now it is my turn to pay it back. After two days in Vientiane , I booked a flight to Luang Prabang with Thai Lion Air. It was the only place I had time for in Laos, but it was enough to make me happy. Luang Prabang is one of the most calming places I have ever traveled. Such an easy and enjoyable family-friendly destination. Luang Prabang ended up on my mind when I watched a documentary about the Tak Bat. The tak bat, or the Buddhist Lao monks’ morning collection of food in Luang Prabang, has become a must-see for travelers in Laos…I woke up early 5:00 am, but I’m so glad because otherwise, I would never have known this amazing ceremony. Also on my list of things to do there, are, of course, walk the old town, see the night market, climb the Mount Phoussy at the sunset, and take a bath in the Kuang Si pools, a lovely place, 30 km from Luang Prabang.
