Firstly, once again congratulations on your impressive achievement. I’m back here by accident and I will explain later because first I’m excited to tell you that I was in beautiful Ecuador in 2017 and have many fond memories. It was where I purchased an official Panama Hat while there in the small town of Montecristi which many don’t know is the birth place of the Panama (not in Panama). With my Panama Hat on I spent hours watching the super seiner tuna vessels unloading their massive catches at Punta Murcielago and spent even more hours on beautiful El Murcielago with its boardwalk and amazing eateries offering absolutely the best of local culinary specialties and drinks. It was sad that I wasn’t there to see the carnival. Anyhow I hope that you will share with us all here some of your great Ecuadorian stories and beautiful photos, perhaps of the Carnival :wink: By the way I have to thank you because your post motivated me into adding some reviews and photos of my time in Ecuador. I will add more because I love to show others the beauty of Ecuador.

Oh yes I want to explain why I said that I’m here by accident. It is very important when you reply to someone on Connect that you tag them. This is done by first typing @ and then selecting that person’s username from the list. You will then see their name shown in blue in your message.
