One of my favorite places is where I work. CROW, the wildlife hospital. We rescue over 5,000 native wild animals per year. We rehab them and get them back into the wild. You can check out some invasive species at the visitor center. Check out a presentation in the native wildlife. I present on Virginia Opossums. They are North America’s only marsupial. They are also living dinosaurs. We are a sea turtle hospital so we are blessed to work with those endangered animals. Your kids can become a mini veterinarian and help diagnose what’s wrong with the stuffed animal wildlife in the kids area. We try to teach recycling and being aware of fishing line and it injuring wildlife. You can see our ambassador Great-Horned Owl, Red-tailed Hawk, Amadillo or Opossum named GIGI.
