One of the most challenging things I’ve ever done was climbing El Nevado del Tolima it is located in Nevado National park in Salento Quindio entering through the Cocora Valey. I’ve been practicing sports activities since I was a kid and something I love from my country is the nature that can be seen from every angle. I reached 5248 meters above the sea it took me 57 km in 48 hours, I didn’t feel my legs, I couldn’t breathe properly but every single effort worth it. I hardly recommend visiting this place if you love mountains and physical challenges you would love this paradise closer to the stars.
there are lots of agencies that can organize that kind of activities, you must plan your visit with plenty of time.
I always will remember this deed forever, the hardest climate conditions can soften any soul.
