Hello everyone. For having some fun after sufferings of study and assignments one of our friends decided to make a tour to Sunamganj. It is situated at the north-eastern part of Bangladesh.
I live in Rajshahi as I read in University of Rajshahi. So I started from Rajshahi at about 10:00 a.m. on Desh Travels. Others started from Khulna as they are in Khulna University of Science and Technology.
We reached at Dhaka Sayedabad Bus Terminal. We confirmed our seat to Shyamoli Bus.
We reached at Sunamganj at about 3:00 p.m. Took our meal from a local restaurant.
Then we hired a CNG auto-rickshaw and went to Tanguar Haor.
It was about to dusk.
Then we hired a boat for 24 hrs at the price of 3000 taka. One must collect materials before entering into the boat:
- Life Jackets;
- Sufficient drinking water;
- Battery for charging smartphones.
- Snacks.
We went into the boat and enjoyed the night by singing and gossiping.
Next morning we went near the Meghalaya Hill.
We hired motorbikes and visited the spots.
They were just beautiful in a word.
One can forget all his sorrows after visiting the beautiful nature.
We took our breakfast from there.
We returned to our boat at about 1:00 p.m. and went to Watch-tower. We took our bath there. We hired little boats from local children and tried to drive them. It was really amazing. I never tried to drive the boat.
After photo-shooting and bathing we went back to starting point and took our lunch.
You can take lunch from the bazar. It’s delicious.
Then we went back to Sunamganj Town through CNG.
