Hi @tupai , those are some really beautiful pictures and of really great quality. Thank you for sharing them!

I think we would all love to know more about the places in those photos, I’m especialy curious about the thanks-Giving ritual by the Emperor.

Clicking here you can read some tips on how to write the kind of posts Local Guides enjoy the most. It would be awesome to have something to read in between the photos.

Description

‘Tokyo Station’ is the central station in Tokyo, Japan. The Shinkansen for the west such as Kyoto or Osaka start from here, and for the north such as Sendai or Hakodate also start from here.

The first ‘Thanks-giving ritual’ since the new Emperor enthroned was held here at night on 14th through 15th of November in2019. This site is published until 8th of December in 2019.

The house in the ‘East imperial garden’ was used for the tea ceremony decades ago.

‘Mt. Fuji from Bunkyo Civic Center’ on 25th floor was fantastic view only clear days behind Shinjuku skyscraper.

‘Koishikawa Botanical Garden’ blongs to Tokyo University. A new green house was opened on 18th of November in 2019…

‘Edo Castle’ is the ruin of the residense of the Shogun during 265 years… We can see the old and the new such as modern buildings.

A part of ‘The east Imperial Garden’ is a forest scenery a few decades ago near Tokyo district.

Hello, @Jesi

I ask you about “Tell us about it. Add a description to your post telling us what makes it relevant and interesting. Adding context to your experiences make them more real and exciting.”

How can I add description to my photos posted before ?

Please advise me howto !

Hi @tupai ,

Wow that looks amazing! Tokyo has been one of my most desired places to visit and I really hope to go there soon. Do you live there yourself? The central looks so cool. Do you have a favorite spot in Tokyo? Which top places would you recommend to see?

Thanks so much for sharing!

Hello, @DanniS

I live in Bunkyo Ward in Tokyo, and photos I posted LGC were took by myself. They are the sites I can go with my bicycle within one hour.

Many foreigners visit at Est Imperial Garden “Higashi-Gyoen” in Japanese, where is free of charge. Rikugien is also recommended. Asakusa district is popular, Sensoji Temple and Nakamise are interesting to you. There are more and more spots you must visit, please enjoy a lot of things in Tokyo sight seeing.

Hello again, @tupai ! “Tell us about it” means not to just add photos without an explanation, people, including me, like to see the story behind the pictures to give us context about it. Try to answer the question “why do I want to share this here?” or “why do I like this photo?”, adding that kind of information to your posts would be great.

For example, if I wanted to share here photos of my city I would write about the different neighbourhoods the photos were shot at, and what they are known for. If there photos were from specific places, I would write about what is the place and what to people do there. Or if I wanted to share photos taken in the same day or the same season, like you, I would try to describe the season in my city, do you notice any changes from other seasons? If it was the same day maybe I could share the photos while I tell the story of what I did in the day and why did I decide to visit those places.

These are all just ideas and examples of what I would do, we all have our own writing style. I hope this helps in some way to answer your question
