Once upon a time, a review saved my life.

Of course, it is not true, I just wanted to attract your attention, but reviews are really helpful sometimes.

During my trips, I’m always looking for interesting places to visit. And of course, I read the reviews.
I like to taste new dishes and, therefore, restaurant reviews are one of the most important for me.
Unfortunately, I cannot taste all offers as my stomach volume is limited.

Therefore, I’m reading reviews in order to find out the best offers with the local kitchen, nice atmosphere. Reviews are also saving my money and time.
Sometimes I’m travelling with my friend who is disabled and reviews are really helpful in that case as well, as not every place are suitable for him. The main things we’re looking for:
elevator or ramp availability and other things that can affect his disabled carriage movement.

Someone’s reviews were useful to me. Also, I believe it can be useful for other travelers like me as well. I’m feeling like I have a responsibility to leave a review of the places I’ve visited, the food I’ve tried, the views I saw etc.
I always try to provide honest feedback with some photos if possible. Of course, sometimes that could be a negative review, but there are not that many of them and as someone said - what doesn’t kill us make us stronger.
That’s sort of exchange, but without money. I have more impressions because of reviews and, therefore, I’m sharing the feedback in order for someone to have the same feelings.
The reminder about visited places really helps me not to forget to share the review, but also reminds me again about the feelings I had during my trip.

I’m feeling like an important part of the travelers community. Of the huge worldwide community where everyone is helping each other and share their memories, thoughts and feelings.
Especially when someone replies on my feedback or asks additional questions.
I can explain the feelings when my feedback views count reaches 50000. I’m living in a small city and that kind of amounts it’s like I helped half of my city to find a better place.

That share of help inspires me to share my new impressions as also visit new interesting places.

Nice pictures from the Baltic see. I love to go there, while I use to visit the polish side :slightly_smiling_face:

Finally, someone who actually read the instructions on how to write a Connect post for Connect Live 2020.

You certainly made a great and attention grabbing headline, @DenisLV .

I wonder why this is so overlooked.

Maybe this makes selecting who gets to go to California easier…

Cheers

Your post truly represent what “click bait” is :slightly_smiling_face:
