On every place on the world it's five o'clock somewhere

An einem Ort in der Karibik, fand ich 2010, diese gemütliche Lokation. Was will man mehr…

Hi @Arminius82 congratulations on writing your first Connect post. I will like to introduce you to an amazing German I know here @ChiaraMariaC and our very own Moderator @TorM

I am sure they will be better able to communicate with you.

I am sorry, I am reading a translated version of your post, but, when you give your post a Title ON Connect, try to ensure that both your writing and your photos match the title you have shared with us.

Welcome TO Connect and I look forward to reading more from you.

Hy @Ewaade_3A

Thank you very much for your warm words. I think it’s okay if you use a translation programme. I think it’s okay.
I have taken your request to heart and have also included an English version of the text.

Also written with a translation programme.

@Arminius82 Wow! If you are this open to taking correction, then, I will share with you what little knowledge I have about writing Topics in the ‘Travel Board’

  1. What do you want to tell us about? In this case; that one place it is 5 O’ Clock
  2. Show a Photo that supports your Title e.g. It can be photo of a clock or a collag eof two photos you have taken, whatever
  3. What did you go to do there? This you have answered
  4. Why do you think we should visit this place and how is it relevant to it being 5 O’ clock?
  5. What are the interesting things we can do here?
  6. How accessible is this place to kids? To those on wheelchair? Etc.

You are writing on the travel section because you want us to immerse in your experience of the place.

@Sophia_Cambodia is one of the most celebrated writers on the Travel Board, I am sure she has few tips to share with you

Dear @ChiaraMariaC

I’m sorry, but I don’t have a FB Account. I have my principles.

Thank you @Ewaade_3A for mentioning about me. You said it all so I wouldn’t add more.

Thanks for sharing your photo here @Arminius82 Normally, when I write about travel, I would consider all the things like Ewaade has mentioned.

  • I would include Google Map is possible, then geography and location of the place, then what we can do or see in that place or what are nearby attractions to that particular place.
  • I also add if there are some tips or special points about that place.
  • I also include photos of the sites, make them more attractive to readers!

By the way, do you know that you can edit your post by clicking on the Three dots (…) below your post?
