OMG~Grand Canyon in Taiwan!

There are many mountains in Taiwan. Because of a lot of earthquakes, Taiwan has the second highest mountain range in Eastern Asia. Instead of playing online games or being a couch potato at home, I enjoy hiking on weekends. Today, I want to show you a famous mountain in Taiwan. I think you will like it.

Huoyanshan (also named mountain of flame or fire mountain) is a famous mountain which is located between Taichung and Miaoli county. I decide to climb it because it is called the Grand Canyon in Taiwan.

Huoyanshan mountain stands at 602 meters above sea level. It isn’t hard to climb. Now, follow me~

When you arrive here, you will see the entrance. People wait in a line to take a picture with the entrance sign. I did the same thing, haha.

At first, we can see many trees along the road, so that it wouldn’t be too hot.

After 5 minutes, I sweat a lot. Oh, it is so hot today. How many meters I climb? Hmm… only 251 meters. Keep going!

The reason why it is named fire mountain is because the sand, the rock here you can see is reddish.

You can grasp the rope to keep safe. It’s steady incline.

Which one will you choose? Easy or challenging? I felt exhausted so I chose the easy way to go. I think the sign is interesting because who few people would choose the challenging one.

Wow! What a breathtaking scenery! Look at the sharp cliff and the road river. I was fascinated with the nature power!

Do you think it look like the Grand Canyon in the USA?

There are many tourists sites in Taiwan! I will show you more! I’m your local guide from Taichung,Taiwan. Hope you will like my introduction ^ _ ^

This is definitely my kind of activity too. I love hiking and the feeling of reaching the peak of you hike makes it worth the hard work.

By the way I have removed the Chinese language label from your post since it’s written in English. You can find posts in a particular language here: How do I find posts in my preferred language?
