We pick up the Olives every year from the trees late of every year. Start to pickup from middle October to last December which is a period of fresh Olives.
Additionally, the Olive Oil is the most important food we care about. We squeeze the fresh Olives to produce the Oil.
I hope you liked the short article this time and I will post more later like before .
Yes, we too use olive oil for cooking, body, etc. Most of them are from your part of the world…
Nice post & contextual photos… Thanks for sharing…
But, if you permit, I would like to suggest the following to you:
I understand that your photo looks fine on your mobile, but many of us use PC (Laptop) to read & respond to your post - the small photos are less impressive compared to Full-Screen photos. So kindly use this method (Here) to edit your beautiful post & keep your photo in full size. I hope that will help you; in case if you need any further assistance to get your post edited, kindly TAG me while replying.
Thank you for commenting here and thank you liked my photos. I’ve checked your post about uploading photos in large size, well, I use this way sometimes , but didn’t know the difference before you reminded me . I will start using the desktop mode via my mobile from now on . I will check my post in my laptop to see how the photos look like now.
To be honest, I am a mobile user mostly instead of computer. I like to get my work done quickly and while on the go outta.
Thanks again for saying something here in my post .
Hello @OSAMA_1 Thanks for this very interesting picture. I find the Olive Tree to be an important link between the ancient and modern world. (a temporal perspective)
In the picture the Olive Tree also provides spatial perspective in respect of the other objects.
Then finally, there is the skyline where the terrestial brown meets the celestial blue. Quite remarkable.
Hi @MariaNgo it’s true that the Olive Tree can’t be bare from leaves. I think this time this tree exposed to a very cold and snowy weather that made it’s shape like this.
I will.shoot another photo for a real one and show you here .
@OSAMA_1 It would cool to see the various stages of the Olive tree from harvest onwards, esp the harvesting process.
I’ve seen olive trees in full greenery and even full of olives. I live in Melbourne and there are some people who plant them on the nature strip near our home.
But I’ve never seen them being harvested or what happens to them after that.
Hey, thanks for following me.
I’m also writing a series on the various months in Melbourne on connect and also on my travel blog. I started with April. But I’ve been very slow writing them as I decided to do more studies the last two years. I’ve just finished so now I have more time.
Ok @MariaNgo thanks we are talking here , I am happy.
Well the tree in my first post looks it’s harvested ! , but it’s not harvested and we don’t harvest Olive trees. We only pick up the olives. I live in this area and I knew the people who used to own this tree are not here anymore , I think they moved to another place and the tree ignored. I think I liked to shoot this tree because it’s shape little different. It’s high and very Big one. You know, we have in our country in different cities Olives trees dated back from Rooman Empire !. The Roman Empire Olive trees are Giant and you can enter inside the main branch that went up from the ground. They are formulated like a Cave . You a 3 person’s can sit inside the main branch. Only a 3.or 4 men can round the main branch when they connect their hands together !! wow.
Those Roman Trees are far from where I live, but I plan to drive my car to get there and shoot a photos .
Now down here is a photo of one the Olives’ Trees in my house and with it’s original shape
We are great friends and local guides… So it is our responsibility to assist mutually… I’m so glad that my suggestion is of some assistance & help to you.
Dear friend, on the contrary to your style, I use PC more even while on move, especially for publishing new posts. I find it very difficult to post photos through mobile.
Kindly remember to tag me for any possible assistance from my end.
Yes my friend @TravellerG I know most and All use a computer. To me I have lab top, but not interested to sit behind the screen a lot of time. I like mobiles and I use a very special apps that I purchased them .
I use olive oil when cooking, but I would like to share with you a photo. It’s a souvenir made of olive wood. It reminds me of my travel to West Bank, where I bought it. Now it’s our Christmas decorations at home.
That is a nice souvenir @AniaKiser . It looks attractive to place it in your house in a table or behind a display . Sure we also use our Olive Oil for cooking and in some body pain cases , it is a medec on human body joints. Additionally, it’s ise8 for different purposes ! not only for cooking. Our grandfathers and grandmothers drink a small glass of olive oil every morning ! which is so healthy. Oh, I tried to drink before, then I’ve vomited it after maybe 5 hours . My stomach could not tolerate it. No this generation of people can’t drink olive oil, only our ancestors could do it.
