15 stories - skyscraper in Chennai!, wondering how a 15 stories building can be called a skyscraper?. It was in 1959! when it was built. It was the tallest building in India. This LIC building has always been the mascot of Chennai. Everyone used to look at this building in awe, in the early days. Ofcourse with so many taller buildings in the city and elsewhere, this building is not the tallest one anymore. But, for Chennai, it will always be in the center of attraction always as one of the oldest and surviving mascots.
