I decided to test Ask Maps with a question that was probably a little more “Hilariously Fashion Farhana” than a typical Maps question. 
I asked:
“Help me explore a great outdoor location in Marina Bay to click aesthetic pictures, suggest a dress color palette inspired by BTS members’ styling to get the best look, recommend the best timing to enjoy the free shows, and later help me plan a cozy evening with a great coffee.”
Yep. I really put ALL of that into one question.
And honestly… I was SO excited when Ask Maps came back with such a smooth and surprisingly detailed answer! 
It didn’t just suggest a place. It actually went into the backdrop details and suggested color palettes inspired by the individual BTS members’ styling, along with the timing for the free shows and a cozy coffee stop.
That was the moment I thought:
“Okay… this is actually pretty cool!” 
It made me think about how interesting Maps can become when we stop treating it simply as “Where is this place?” and start asking it about the experience we actually want to have.

Ask Maps feels like the ultimate thingy we’ve been eagerly waiting for! It’s exciting to see Maps becoming something we can actually have a conversation with, rather than simply search through. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

One point to be noted: I’m really looking forward to having Ask Maps access directly in the phone app. But for now, I’m glad I could access it through the web version of Google Maps and give it a proper try.
My one little wish after trying it: I really hope we can eventually keep the conversation going. Being able to ask follow-up questions and refine the results would make the experience feel even more natural.
And then… BTS × Gemini happened. 
Then I saw the BTS × Gemini campaign—and suddenly my little Ask Maps experiment felt even more relevant.

Yeah… I AM A LOYAL ARMY. 
Seeing something I had been experimenting with through Ask Maps suddenly appear in such a fun BTS × Gemini campaign honestly made my day.
It felt like one of those little:
“Wait… I was just testing this!” moments.
