The Okanagan Valley is heaven on earth. So many beautiful places to see. Not only that, but also the atmosphere, the summer season arrives with its fruits, its vegetables, its vineyards and its beaches with more than 100 km of spots and places around the lake
From Vernon to Osoyoos every little village has its own. My favorite places are Peachland and Naramata, Peachland doesn’t look like a village or a city. Its beach is just sublime, five kilometers with authentic houses surrounded of lavender flowers, tulips. You can also see a lot of birds like wild geese, eagles or woodpeckers and sometimes up the hills but not too far, some bears and deers and rarely cougars, racoons and wolves.
In the central square there are tourist shops, restaurants of very good quality, ice cream shops and every Sunday local farmer’s markets with local products and with a tasty local flavor. Finally, as we climb a little up the hills, the panoramic view is just wonderful. I often spend time just watching the lake surrounded by the rocky mountains.
