Oil Mills are very comman things to be noticed in our day to day life. But as the industrialization hit hard, the small oil Mills are on the verge of extinction. I find very few of them nowadays as compared to my childhood 20 years back here in my hometown.
This one is of Saff-flower. The Saff-flower is grown in the Rabi season and is ready for harvesting In the Month of March.
After harvesting it’s cleaned and sun dried before we can take it to the mill.
- Saff-flower oil is considered to be one of the healthiest oil for human consumption.
- These oil Mills are like 30-40 years old.
