Ohio #StateChallenge Meet-up and Trivia Quiz

In an effort to make sure that all attendees have a chance to become the KING/QUEEN of the featured state, we have decided to give all former Trivia Kings and Queens a deficit of “-200” points for each time they have previously won 1st place.

This should give those who haven’t won before a better chance
Provide some additional challenge to those who have won before

And the weird laws are…	It is illegal to fish for whales on Sunday. It is illegal to get a fish drunk. The Ohio driver’s education manual states that you must honk the horn whenever you pass another car. It is illegal for more than five women to live in a house. If someone loses their pet tiger, they must notify the authorities within one hour. Participating in or conducting a duel is prohibited. Breastfeeding is not allowed in public. It is illegal to mistreat anything of great importance. No one may be arrested on Sunday or on the Fourth of July. In Akron - It is illegal to display colored chickens for sale. In Akron - No person shall solicit sex from another of the same gender if it offends the second person. In Akron - Skateboarding in the city limits after dark is prohibited. In Akron - Posting signs at swimming pools is illegal. In Bay Village - It is illegal to walk a cow down Lake Road. In Bexley - Ordinance number 223, of 09/09/19 prohibits the installation and usage of slot machines in outhouses. In Canton - Electric fences are banned. In Canton - If one loses their pet tiger, they must notify the authorities within one hour. In Canton - Power Wheels cars may not be driven down the street. In Canton - It is a misdemeanor to play any game in a public park without the Superintendent’s permission. In Cleveland - Women are forbidden from wearing patent leather shoes, lest men see reflections of their underwear. In Cleveland - It’s illegal to catch mice without a hunting license! In Columbus - It is illegal for stores to sell Cornflakes on Sunday. In Fairview Park - Items left on a tree lawn become city property. In Fairview Park - It’s against the law to honk your horn “excessively”. In Ironton - Cross-dressing is against the law. In Lima - Any map that does not have Lima clearly stated on the map cannot be sold. In Lowell - It is unlawful to run a horse over five miles per hour. In McDonald - Your duck may not be paraded down Ohio Avenue. In North Canton - It is against the law to roller skate without notifying the police. In Oxford - It is illegal to drive around the town square more than 100 times in a single session. In Oxford - One may not spit on the sidewalks on the square. In Oxford - Motor vehicles on the square are prohibited. In Oxford - Horn honking is not permitted as it might scare horses. In Oxford - It’s illegal for a woman to strip off her clothing while standing in front of a man’s picture. In Paulding - A policeman may bite a dog to quiet him. In Strongsville - Catch 22 is banned. In Toledo - Throwing a snake at anyone is illegal. In Youngstown - You may not run out of gas. In Youngstown - Riding on the roof of a taxi cab is not allowed. Sources: One and Two
