On this 3-month journey, it seemed so easy to help many others through it. I love writing. Everytime I could go online, I wrote comments, shared photos hoping to spark courage in many more.
As I was traveling I learnt something very important: I thought I was going to be alone on this trip, but I found out that all the lonely travellers take care of eachother. We are actually one big family.
It is one thing to introduce local businesses and places to other people, yet it is another to empower others just by informing them. Like many of you, I feel empowered by empowering others.
Wow, I am SO moved by this post @Ezgi - I felt as if I was on this journey with you. The photos tell stories without the need for captions, and I love your sentiments around helping others as well. I have so much respect for solo travelers like you and @vvbellur - and using Google Maps, I can imagine, is so critical to your journeys. Personally, I would feel more confident now than ever as a solo traveler due to the improvements and enhancements to the app. This also includes the ability of Google including relevant COVID-19 information in Maps.
Many many kudos on this wonderful post and continue having happy and safe travels (when possible) in the midst of what is going on worldwide.
@Ezgi cheers to you for travelling on your own! It’s such an awesome feeling, right?! I visited Nepal with my cousin last year and it was so beautiful. I loved the city Pokhara the most as it was very scenic with the Annapurna ranges as a backdrop!
Your pictures are superbes! Thanks a lot for sharing.
