Hello Fellow LGs,
I have noticed that whenever you update your existing Review, after posting that particular review gets hidden and not available as Public.
This is the unique feature I have observed which drives me for the below listed pointers:

Already posted review when gets updated’ it again goes for the verification cycle and after that only updated review is made public.

Discourage the updation in the existing review.
Your expert advice to this thought is highly appreciated.

Even if in this moment the AI is a bit “rude” and Under improvement, I would say exactly the opposite. Editing a review is what Google Maps suggest to do if your revie has been made private, and it worked well for a very long time.
As you can read in Flag and fix inappropriate content "If a review you wrote has been flagged and removed, you can fix it yourself. Edit your review to follow Google review policies — for example, you might remove a phone number or URL from the review. Your review will be automatically republished.
Google uses automated spam detection measures to remove reviews that are probably spam. Although legitimate reviews are sometimes inappropriately removed, these spam prevention measures help improve people’s experiences on Google by ensuring that the reviews they see are authentic, relevant, and useful."

That’s what I was wondering @ErmesT .
Why Google should discourage the edit rather it should be a welcome act when LG is trying to provide the apt info at present.
Secondly, already public made review is now hidden after edit. And just to share here such edit has only addition of one or two photos.

It is not so simple to explain, @Kumaarsantosh , and a bit of light can be found in An update on how we moderate Google Maps reviews .
Obviously when you edit a review, the review is checked again and, if found inappropriate, it is made private. I have several private reviews too, so frequently I am filling the form for the team to release them.
However, I can see that some of your contributions are not exactly following the rules, and this can indeed be the reason for having many hidden reviews.
According to Prohibited and restricted content “Posting the same content multiple times”, (like for this and this reviews, just as an example) is not allowed, and I am surprised that the two reviews are visible.
The same can be said for the photos. According to the Community policy :“Dark, blurry, and redundant photos will be removed. Users who duplicate photos across locations, … will also be removed.”. This is the also case of some of the photos in here, with five very similar photos, or here, with a big redundancy and some duplicate.
As the photos attached to a review can now be considered as part of the review, and are not visible if the review is made private, it may happen that the reason is not on the review itself, and it could be that the issue is caused by the added photos

Upon edit of review, it gets private. Strange but true Whether photo is changed/included or not.
Google might take some time to make it public.
