Oasis near Flaming Cliff Mongolia

Leaving the Gobi desert, we headed for Flaming Cliff, due to the end of the tourist season so it was hard to find accommodation. Luckily we met a Mongolian family with a rental tent. The tent is called Ger. Very sturdy design, but also can be folded easily, each tent can accommodate 8 people.

Nearby there are lakes, horses and camels here to store water before going into the desert. In the evening we had a great meal with the Mongolian family.

At night it was very cold -10 ° C and at 10 pm there was no more wood, it’s hard to sleep. If you can’t stand the cold, you should go in the summer.

Sunrise in desert is remarkable.
