- I am from Colombia, and I was struggling with my company, then I look for help, like advisory, to know how to improve the sales. I was having the help of an advisor for one year, and then she told me there was an opportunity to go to Asia and be in a company there for three months and learn how to get more clients and sales, like an “entrepreneurial apprenticeship”. I thought it was a great idea. I never thought to go there, Asia was really new and it sounded like a great adventure, so I decided to go there. I look up for the companies that I could go and I picked one in Bali, Indonesia. After I was accepted and sign all the papers I talked to the director of the company in Bali, and he told me they have an apartment for me, and this was the first of a lot of great news. I went there in september, after a looong journey. The airport was completely different of the one in my country, a driver took me to the apartment and he was so nice. At that time, I started to realize that the people from Indonesia is really kind, they alway helped me. The second day, I had jet lag so I did not do anything. The third day I started in the company, and met all the people there, they were really kind also. The first weekend I asked my coworkers where I can go, I was living in Denpasar, so I did not have the beach really close to me, so they suggested to go to the beach. The beaches there were beautiful and warm as the beaches in my country. The first beach that I visited was the one in Sanur, Sanur Pantai. Pantai is beach in Bahasa, the language there. Then, I knew the Kuta Pantai, Seminyak, Nusa Dua and Legian. In the last one I learnt how to surf. After a few weeks, the company invited me to go in a Cruise ship to Nusa Lembongan, other Island, another amazing news. I never had been in one, so the experience was amazing. When I was in that Island it was raining so at the beginning we couldn`t do anything, but then I could do scuba diving, other amazing experience. After a week I also went to a show at Nusa Dua theatre. After a month, I could go to Yogjakarta and I was at Prambanan temple, it has a lot of little Hindi temples. Then I went to Surabaya, and saw a muslim temple. In Indonesia they have people from different religions nd the live in peace together. After that I went to Ijen Mountain, it was a volcano before, and it is one of the most dangerous places to go, but I came back alive. During my last weekend I went to the south of Bali, to see other beaches, and my favorite was Gunung Payung, when I posted a phot of it, it get more than 100.000 views.When I was coming back to my country I had a stop in Singapur, and I spent the whole day there, so I went to Orchard Road, it was December and it was full of lights, iit was beautiful also. That was my experience, and I loved it because I did not expect. hat the people was going to be so kind, and I was going to have so much fun and great adventures.
