NYC Upper West Side gets a culinary upgrade

More and more chefs start to identify the potential of the upper west side potential. Thanks to more social platforms like Google and Yelp, average restaurants cannot survive anymore and great chefs seeing the potential of opening trendy restaurants at the UWS. The latest edition is Miznon on 72nd street and Broadway, after opening the first Miznon at Chelsea Makret. Miznon is introduced by Eyal Shani, the famous Israeli chef with restaurants all over the world.

Atlas on 109 and Broadway is another great example of creative and unique Chinese restaurant, very different than the average cheap Chinese restaurants.

I expect to see more in the next few months with younger crowd moving to the UWS looking for culinary options.

@YossiL Looks good and spicy. I like it spicy. I would try that dish sometime. Looks delicious.

Hi @YossiL ,

Thanks for sharing this restaurant with us. The food looks really delicious! I also use Google Maps a lot when trying to find a restaurant near-by. It’s really useful and helpful. What is the dish in the photo called? What type of cuisine is it? I don’t think I’ve tried anything Israeli before, so it’s quite interesting to me.
