We were eager to have Dum Sum and tried to find the signature Hong Kong style restaurants serving fresh Dim Sum by cart around Flushing last weekend. However, there was no great place open due to COVID-19.

Dim Sum Garden opened few months ago and we saw some good reviews online. The decor is humble outside but gorgeous inside with dazzling dinnerware in the photos.

It’s a great option for people who is first time here.

基本款的燒賣、蝦餃達水準,
內餡飽滿、多汁,
叉燒酥是最好吃的一款,
外皮酥、叉燒餡鹹香不膩。
一口鮑魚撻的撻皮過軟爛,
鮑魚的味道也不合;
期待甚高的潮州粉果、蜂巢芋角淪為最差,
尤其是芋角的中心過硬。

They had a promotion price $1 for the chicken feet, but we won’t recommend if it’s full price.
上週末$1的特價菜,
腦波很弱地加點,
調味偏鹹,
原價不列入考慮。
Steamed Pork Ribs with Pumpkin 南瓜蒸排骨($3.95)
The pork ribs were well-braised, flavorful and tender, but the portion of pumpkin was small.
排骨燉煮得非常軟嫩、入口即化,
可惜南瓜很少。
Steam Egg Custard Bun 黑金流沙包($4.95)
It was our favorite one, amazingly delicious and creamy.
最得室友心的一道,
推薦加點,
高顏值又好吃,
品嚐前入微波爐加熱30秒鐘,
爆漿、滾燙的內餡近似堂吃。
The food was not the best but pretty decent, better than our expectation. Our favorites were the Shu Mai in the platter and the custard buns. However, we didn’t recommend their fried dim sum which was overcooked and dry.
One of the best things is they serve dim sum all day not only before 3pm. Overall, Dim Sum Garden is a great option if the traditional and authentic dim sum restaurants are not open.
原來期待值不高,
畢竟心目中的港式點心就是幾家經典,
阿姨們推車兜售、現蒸現吃。

實際踩點的心得不完美但尚可,
整體而言口味符合價格,
在非常時期是一個替代的選擇。
