Today, I noted a small change in the layout of “Your contributions” profile on the phone.
Now that displays an analysis of the type of places one will find in the reviews by that person.
Now the reviews can be filtered on specific topic & then studied in depth.
Here is a screenshot of the new UI.

Thus, to follow prominent local guide will now become more useful in terms of getting some relevant information.
Nevertheless, the classification is not very accurate. I discovered some restaurants getting clubbed under the heading “Factory outlet shop”. Hope that will improve over the time.

@C_T I don’t see that as yet on Pixel 3, Maps app is up to date.

The roll-out of any new feature takes some time @jayasimha78 .

I was waiting for almost a week to get the new user interface in Feb’.

Nevertheless, try clearing the cached & stored data of the app. That helps sometimes.

हा नवीन इंटरफेस सर्वत्र दिसायला थोडा वेळ लागू शकेल @Rohan10
किंवा कदाचित ज्या प्रोफाईल्स साठी फॉलो ऑप्शन अनलॉक झाला आहे, त्यांनाच हा नवीन स्क्रीन दिसत असेल.

थोडे दिवस वाट बघायला हवी.

Regarding your queries about me,

Since active from March of this year,

I already did this many times.

Based on my suggestions,

Merging the posts, closing the ideas, move idea to how-tos, reporting off topic posts and reporting some local guides. (Now they all are removed from the programme).

All are done and do by me.

I don’t get any happiness in this activities, and not the personal benefit, it’s my little contribution to keep connect more organised.

I don’t get any reward,certificate,award in this.

The pain of merging, closing, moving threads I know very well, because I experienced this many times.

That’s why I make some posts for guiding the other local guides.

Even I tag moderator on my own post to merging my post to previous one.

This is not the first time I faced criticism on connect, but I know how to deal with that.
