Even though I have made at least 10 reviews with 200+ characters I am still stuck in “novice reviewer” because helpfulness is stuck on 4/5… Does anybody know how to fix this issue?

Probably you are copy pasting reviews from any bot app for fluency or might be uploading reviews in bulk. Edited pics and persons name, any signs that are violating the policies may lead that your review has not been published to users and it appears only in your LG profile. Try writing reviews in your own words, if live location is turned on to your photos the Google system will suggest automatically to upload while selecting it from gallery. Don’t write too long reviews. Best luck.

Your reviews is in private i think. You need to write your own experience with your own words not copy & paste. You can make translate from your own language to English it’s will sure publish.

However, I am writing all these reviews directly myself for places that google suggests from my location history without bots or translation software.
I have used the guide from @MortenCopenhagen and there is only a difference of 2 between the numbers I see on my profile & the numbers you can see from a not logged-in private browser. (https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/General-Discussion/Count-your-hidden-contributions-Desktop/td-p/2901579)
This makes me believe that only 2 of 73 my reviews are hidden?
I have checked in the data from google takeout & that data contains at least 11 reviews of 200+ characters.
So even if the 2 hidden reviews are ones with 200+ characters I still should have at least 9 public reviews with 200+ characters left?

Then use the form i have told you in before message Account Investigation For Contributions Not Visible On Google Maps it will surely work but it’s take few weeks time.

You are not the first one to report this problem. Also, under my Maps profile all my long (helpful) reviews are not counted. So I believe there is a bug at play here. Hence filling out the form on hidden contributions might not solve this. But I can not hurt to try.
