Hi @BDiddy3370
Welcome to Connect.
I visited Paris last year, and my apartment was really close to Notre Dame Cathedral, but I was discouraged to visit it because of the long queue. Can you please tell us if it’s worth to visit it? Which are the details that impressed you the most?

Sorry folks, just getting the hang of things around here! We arrived in Paris last night after a long day of transit from California (including a 4 hr layover in Heathrow). With the time change, we were pretty much wide awake by 6 AM, so we figured we’d beat the lines at the cathedral when it opened at 8 AM. I’ve been here before, and it never fails to impress – it’s a definite must-see for any visitor to Paris.
When I travel, I like to look for shots that are somewhat atypical. As I was walking around the apse, I looked up and saw the Pieta from behind. Not being able to see Mary’s face made her seem even more anguished. The lights shining down also made me think of the climax of a tragic opera.
