Hello, this is a completely voluntary community. You should share without any expectations. For example, I have not received any awards even though I am level 9. But I am not upset because helping people makes me happy. @ZanyBlaze

Hola @ZanyBlaze respeto totalmente tu opinión, pero no la comparto, Aportamos a esta Comunidad en forma desinteresada, sin esperar nada a cambio. El mejor premio y el mejor pago que podemos obtener es que “Alguien” se puede beneficiar de nuestras publicaciones y poder tomar decisiones sobre un lugar donde ir, un comercio dónde comprar, la mejor ruta, etc…
Mañana tú puedes necesitar esa información, entonces no la verás como una pérdida de tiempo, si no una solución a tu problema o pregunta.

Long answer short, @ZanyBlaze : Yes, there’s no reward. Local Guides are not paid.
But sometimes there are little thank you perks from Google (Question about a Local Guides reward email? Read this first ) for those who are lucky enough.
