Not Receiving Rewards or Perks Despite Reaching Level 7 with 12,000 Points

Hello,

I am a Level 7 Local Guide with 12,000 points. Despite my regular contributions to Google Maps, I have not received any rewards, perks, or related emails. I check my email and Google Maps updates daily, and I consistently receive emails for each contribution I make. However, I have not received any information about rewards or perks.

Could you please assist me in understanding why I haven’t received any rewards or perks yet and what steps I can take to resolve this issue?

Didn’t any kind of perks of gift from Google I am level 8 local guide and consistently contributing for Google since 6 years but didn’t got any appreciation this thing disappoints very much🥲

You could consider the free and updated Maps app a great reward.

If you expect rewards for your efforts then Local Guides isn’t the best place for you. We are all volunteers. We do what we do to help Maps Users and the community. If you get a reward then it’s a bonus, not a right.

There is no pattern and no fairness in who gets rewards. It is just a marketing gimmick.

My motivation is the joy of knowing that I’m helping a lot of people and businesses. Also, making new friends here on Connect can be considered a great perk. I find it very rewarding being a Local Guide.

Hang in there, keep up the good work, and maybe one day it’ll be your turn.

And finally, make sure Rewards is selected in your email settings found here. And update the location to show your current location.

@MortenCopenhagen I have concerns about badges. I am not expecting any rewards but I enjoy earning badges.

Being a local guide, I have been contributing to Google Maps. I am at level 7 and have 2244 contributions, including 744 answers and 9 Q&A. Still, I am not receiving a new contributor badge showing questions not answered yet. How to get my badge? whom to request?

Any help or guidance will be appreciated. Thank you.
