Not getting credit for first review of a place

My Trailblazer badge isn’t complete yet. For a long time it has been at 36/50 of leaving the first review of a place. I’ve written and posted about twenty reviews (probably more) and the number 36/50 has not changed. Some of the reviews are just stars, some have a simple single sentence, and some are lengthy missives.

How can get things moving for the reviews?

Hi @Gabisdaddi

A review consisting of stars only is not considered a review, but just a rating (stars-only-rating).

When did you write your last review. I see your McD review from 2 months ago as your latest.

I can confirm from your public profile that you have added 238 reviews and only 205 of them are public.

Google has automatic filters that hide your reviews so only you can see them. This can happen when some of your reviews violate the guidelines, including:
Prohibited and Restricted Content
Format Specific Criteria (See under Text Reviews and Captions)

Read about typical review guideline violations here.

If you are on a Desktop use this link to Count your hidden contributions. From a mobile device use this link.

If you want to identify which of your reviews are hidden please see this post.

Please use the form called Account investigation for contributions not visible on Google Maps if you believe that some of your contributions have been wrongfully unpublished.

Hidden reviews will not be counted towards your badges.

Best of luck
Morten

Thanks for the info!!! Using your method it shows that I have no hidden reviews. I’ve looked at it in multiple browsers, and even went to that page on another computer which is logged in with someone else’s Google account. It all shows 238 reviews. However, I used a non-Chrome incognito browser on my android phone and I finally see the 205.

That said, I have twelve [proper] reviews since that McD’s review with the most recent being two days ago. There is nothing in them to get flagged:

  • “Often crowded but the doctors are nice.”
  • “Beautiful work and really inexpensive!!!” this one I also included six pics
  • “What a great little fruit and vegetables, and flowers, stand!!!”
  • “What an awesome bakery! It’s fantastic that they offer Keto choices (which are yummy)!!!”

Looking at that incognito page on my phone I also see that 140 of my pics are hidden as well. With that in mind I used your reporting link to Google and hopefully I’ll find out what’s going on…
