For some reason I never get the option to verify others edits or post. I see the option to check the facts however there’s never anything in there. I have found three mistakes in Maps myself and Marked with the flag but that’s all I’ve ever found I’ve never had suggestions to check out. Is there a secret to this or am I missing a set up because I would really like to get my fact-finder’s badge and I am sure on that option. Please help!

A lot fewer facts are to be checked after the change.
Please make sure Location tracking is on also when you are not using Google Maps. This will inform Google about where you have been and this will in turn get you more facts to check.
Please try. And don’t hesitate asking again.

@4CharleneWard There’s an update last month that changes how fact checking work. We no longer get unlimited amount of fact checking, but instead we’ll get them from time to time. If you no longer see any location to fact check, that means currently the option is not available for you.

And yes, it does make it harder to get the fact finder badge now. But as can be read from the post above, the Google team is aware and currently working on the system.

Thank you both for responding to my post. I appreciate any help I can get. I have been a local guide for 5 years and have only have three facts verified edits. Which I found on my own when looking through pictures of a location. I don’t believe I have ever gotten any edit suggestions and wonder if it’s because the location I live in is a small small town in the middle of nowhere. I have tried changing my location to a bigger city closer to me but I just did that recently so don’t think it even mattered at that point. I guess I’m going to have to look through all the pictures and all the sites around me to see if I can find any mistakes to try to get my fact-finder badge silver badge. I only have 22 more facts to check to get the badge. I am way over count on both the other items for requirement so I will have to work hard to get this one. Thanks again for any help that I did I really appreciate it!
Hi @4CharleneWard - At this point, there’s really no official information on how to trigger more locations for fact check. We’ll just have to wait and see what the team will come up with (and when that happens, I’m sure we’ll read about it here in Local Guides Connect)
When you said changing location, do you mean on your Local Guides setting? If yes, that will only affect communications regarding Local Guides program, and won’t affect behavior on Google Maps.
