I am trying to add a missing place which is a Loan Agency or Financing company but every time I add that place… Maps don’t add & create that place… I am not able to figure out the reason behind this.

It is frustrating to see that your edit is not applied, mostly when you are in front of the place, I know this and I have several “not applied” too. In the other side, I know that some restriction is needed, to avoid spam and false editing. Restriction that, after some recent attack to the listing of banks and public offices, are increased. So do not get discouraged. Keep contributing. Maybe in the next future some other Local guide will try to add that place, giving consistency to the esistence of it.

I know it can be disappointing. But every local guide has some edits which are pending or not applied. Some edits are accepted promptly by Google algorithm, some are placed under pending and some are Not Applied. I just have known about the restriction on banks from @ErmesT , that is why my edit to one bank is not being accepted and it is marked as a Point of interest instead of the bank. As he said do not get discourages instead keep contributing.
Few tips from me:
Always keep your GPS on and make sure it is accurate when you are adding a place to maps. When I am adding a location on the map I have found that when I am present in the location and GPS is accurate maps tend to approve it in most cases. Also always try to add at least one photo of the place when adding or editing, this will increase the chance of approval.

I strongly discourage people to bypass the restrictions (that are there for a good reason) adding what can be simply defined a placeholder. Point of interest is not indicating a category, and if someone search for a bank, how can they find it with a wrong category?

@ErmesT I agree with you. I didn’t select ‘Point of interest’ as category and I am not sure if I can. I selected Bank but for a weird reason, it was published under POI category.
