Not applied in place creation or edit

I am confused about the option ‘not applied’.

I added some places in my city which were not added in maps so tried to add them but not applied is written there in edit option.

so tell me how can I add them and what is the solution of not applied option?

Hi @aru222n ,

"Not applied’ means your changes/edit is has not been applied You can say that our edit is rejected.

I know it can be disappointing. But every local guide has some edits which are pending or not applied. Some edits are accepted promptly by Google algorithm and some are rejected promptly saying ‘Not Applied’. And there are few edits placed under pending which will be verified using fact check options or other facts by the Maps. To know more about these read this post from a Google Moderator Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?

Few tips from me:

Always keep your GPS on and make sure it is accurate when you are adding a place to maps. When I am adding a location on the map I have found that when I am present in the location and GPS is accurate maps tend to approve it in most cases. Also always try to add at least one photo of the place when adding or editing, this will increase the chance of approval.

Hi @cesarsteven

The approval of a place depends of several factors, that gives to Google the appropriate set of information for verifying / confirming your edit.

I know that sometimes is frustrating to wait for the approval of a place, but every local guide have pending of not applied edit.

Local Guides Connect is not the place for getting your approval.
