Is there anyone out there from the North Wales area of the UK.
It’s a lonely job at the best of times and it would be nice to find other Local Guides in the area.
I’m in the Prestatyn area. I’ve beep doing this mostly passively for the last few months, only realising I’d managed level 7, so thought I’d give the forums a second look. It was dead in the early days.
Tbh I’m still not sure what this project is about, but I would love to meet local enthusiasts in the area, firstly to o held out the mapping project, bit also to bring some like minded people together. Living in the sticks, means there isn’t opertunities of maker spaces etc like the cities, and I’d like to change that give us older geeks a place and a chance to teach and learn from our up encoding starts.
The current school system is terrible, im sure a maker space would be great for all.
However for now, I’d just like to meet up with a few local members and see what the project is all about.
