No Superpowers, but they died as heroes

“A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.” Quote by Bob Dylan.

Indonesia has gotten much attention since the latest disaster happened, Tsunami in Palu and Banten. Those happened on the same year, 2018.

Now let us go back twenty years to the year 1998, the reformation year of Indonesia. While it lasted, at least four college students of Trisakti University have had taken as victims. Elang, Heri, Hafidin, and Hendrawan, each one died as a hero from the reformation act that happened in Semanggi.

The long history about Soeharto’s regime had triggered all students from the entire country to take an action and fight the dictatorship which ruled Indonesia for almost 30 years long.

Now on May 12th every year, the remaining parents and friends of the victims will visit the statue, put a bouquet of flowers, pay their respects, or just to pray for their souls, who have fled as heroes now.
