No preview photo of Connect posts in social medias

Hi,

Have you noticed that we do not see any photos when we share Connect posts on social media? I have been seeing this for a few days. But today to check the issue I have shared this post by @DeniGu in facebook and twitter and found no photos were showing. Previously I have seen photos from the posts.

I am attaching few screenshots here.

Update on 1 September

This is has been reported by other local guides in Local Guides World facebook group. Shared posts don’t look good without a relevant photo pulled from the post. We hope the team will solve the issue asap.

There is definitely something wrong with the meta-data of LGC posts.

Pictures that go with an article are important eye catchers. More importantly, the intro text also gives potential readers what to expect before they follow a link.

I sincerely hope that this technical issue can be fixed soon. Promoting LGC’s great content is not fun at the moment.

@JeroenM Yes, without photo the post doesn’t look good hence engagement is reducing.

Quería avisar que hoy 9 de setiembre , las vistas previas de los mensajes de LG Connect, ya no se están viendo en las plataformas sociales, como sucedió en días anteriores. Las pudimos volver a ver, pero el problema se reiteró, por lo menos en mi caso.

Hola @JavieraAu . Sí, confirmo que el problema está resuelto, lo comprobé publicando varias publicaciones de Connect y también hemos recibido enlaces de otros Local Guides que comparten desde LGC en páginas sociales u otras plataformas y también funciona!
